Cadiz is the southernmost province in Spain overlooking the Straights of Gibraltar and the North of Africa.

What was once the legendary Gadir has a wide range of different landscape, mountain sierras, a paradise for lovers of nature and fans of adventure sports: huge beaches of golden sand and charming coves and inlets, bathed by the transparent waters of the Atlantic: a huge range of historical sites with ancient noble cities and towns such as Jerez, Sanlucar de Barrameda and Cadiz itself; and the picturesque with villages of the Sierra.

In Jerez only 30 min. from Cadiz you find the international airport and high-speed train station that makes it an ideal destination not only for incentive groups, but also for conferences, thanks to its fantastic infrastructure, hotel and conference center as well as its proximity to Seville.

A mandatory stop in Jerez is a visit to one of the many vineyards that produce wines with "dominacion de Origen" from Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla from Sanlucar de Barrameda. You find contemporary as well as traditional bodegas that highlights its unique architecture designed by Gustav Eiffel ("La Concha" Gonzalez Byass) and structure with more than 4000 horseshoe arches (Gran Bodega Domecq) perhaps the most famous.

One of the other and very attractive traditions in Jerez is the breeding and training of the Andalucian horse. The Andalusian school of dressage horses (Andalucian School of Equestrian Art) engaged in training of Andalusian dressage riders is where you can see:"How the Andalusian horses dance". Also the "Fuente del Suero," Yeguada de la Cartuja "you will find Spain's largest center for breeding and research in the Andalusian Cartuja horse.

Spring decorates Jerez to a party and they celebrate their annual "Horse Fair" with all its splendor in which the main characters is the horse and rider along with delicious food and drink, flamenco music and not the least fashionable horse-drawn carriages and riders dressed in their finest outfits.

The gastronomic offer in the Cadiz province is based on local ingredients. In addition to the fine wines, much of the typical dishes based on seafood and fish and shellfish but also vegetables are an important part of gastronomy where in summer the cold tomato soup "gazpacho" is a staple in every family's diet. Besides drinking the fine wines are also many exciting dishes especially seafood cooked in sherry, or Jerez, but also more innovative types of Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez.
