DAY TRIPS FROM SEVILLE

OLIVE OIL FARM

Only 20 min. from the city of Seville we find this unique and traditional olive oil farm. Pure Gourmet oil “ extra virgin author”. A perfect occasion to get to know in firsthand the secrets about this healthy and exclusive oil. Included is a walk through the olive grove, a visit to the main building of the treasury, the room for interpretation, and finally a visit to the mill, wine cellar and bottling plant and finally tasting of different olive oils and select chocolate ice cream with salt flakes and extra virgin olive oil.

LOCAL BODEGA VISIT

Just outside Seville in the old country house of “Pata de Hierro”, in the village of Villanueva del Ariscal we find this 8th generation driven bodega. Here we will visit the cellar, the old press from the 17th century declared National Monument and of course we taste a exquisite aperitif and wine tasting (the excellent Oloroso Wine, Sherry Wine and Cream).

GRANADA TOUR

An interesting tour of Granada's Moorish bastion, with the Braga, and almost always white-clad Sierra Nevada in the background. By annkomst to Granada, we ride on the impressive fortress Alhambra, the Royal Palace and Generalife Life fairytale gardens. After the Alhambra and Generalife Life's admirable practice it will be time to explore Albaicin narrow streets and a typical lunch in one of Granada's many tapas bars.

CORDOBA

Our road is going east through the Andalusian countryside with endless rows of vines that will never end. Upon arrival we visit the Cordoba Mosque, followed by a guided walk in the narrow streets of Cordoba's old quarter. Very well known for their attractive patios, each year there is competition for the finest.

CARMONA

This tour will take you through the history of the province of Seville from back to the Romans time and till today. The small village of Carmona, which lies on a hill above the most fertile plain of Andalusia and has been declared an "Historical and Artistic Entity" because of its numerous Gothic, Moorish, Baroque and Renaissance monuments. The population of Carmona dates from 5.000 years ago, which makes Carmona the oldest settling in Europe. Carmona has been a witness to important historical ages, like the tartessic in the 8th century B.C. and the carthagenic age in the 4th century B.C.

BULL FARM VISIT

This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about Andalucía's strong and popular bull breading history and traditions. Therefore we are invited to an authentic Bull breeding farm in the outskirts of Seville. After a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the farm and the bull breeding, we find our way out to the fields among the bulls with open tractor so that we can take a closer look at this so impressive animal .We will have time to visit the farm's self-created Museum about the history of the bullfight and the bull’s life and There will be time to walk around in this beautiful surrounding for bigger groups an incredible country paella lunch in rural environments outside if the weather permits it.

ARACENA AND THE MARAVILLA CAVES

. In the small country village Aracena the capital in the Aracena mountain with the same name, is absolutely worth a visit. A stroll in the town with a stop in the village meeting point the square in front of the church and you have the opportunity to visit the "Wonderful caves" mandatory, known for its beautiful underground landscapes.

RIO TINTO TOUR

Close to the village Zalamea la Real, you find the important old mine "Minas de Rio Tinto" in the city with the same name Rio Tinto (red river). We start with a trip on the restored train that takes you through the unknown and fascinating coppery landscape. The train that transported the former derived from metals in the mine and to the capital of Huelva. You will also visit the highly interesting museum, and we explore one of the closed mine. Finally, we get an idea of how the mine influenced the local community around the mines.

HAM FABRIC VISIT WITH TASTING

In Huelva mountain district where the famous Spanish ham is made. We drive through a beautiful nature with pine trees and plains full of ash trees. We see black pigs (Iberian pigs) that wander around the grounds, our first stop is to see a real pigfarm with a short introduction on the breading of these animals followed by a visit to one of the most famous fabrics in this region and of course a tasting is obligatory

PILGRIMAGE TO EL ROCIO VILLAGE

From your special meeting point where the horses, horse carriages tractors, food and drinks, singing group are waiting for you to depart for our route to El Rocio.Through Pine woods and Sand dunes we will make our way as the real pilgrimages do. You make some stops on the way where you join the singing group and dance and eat and have a really good time, before you get to your final destination El Rocio. Here you will visit the church and walk around in the Streets to get a closer look at this magic village. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant with typical food from the region. An extraordinary day full of unforgettable experiences.

PUEBLOS BLANCOS

You will discover one of the oldest cultural landscapes in Spain, the White Villages in the Mountains of Cadiz and Malaga where you find a magnificent view of the whole region and you will also visit small unique villages with local artist of local hand made products like leather, ceramic etc..

RONDA

You will drive up in the Andalucian mountain till we arrives to RONDA which is considered as an important historical city and among Europe’s oldest, built on a cliff more than 700 m.o.s with an impressive bridge which connect the cities 2 parts, with a beautiful view over the Andalucian landscape. First we will stroll through the fascinating narrow white washed streets in order to feel this charming city. After this stroll we will visit one of the oldest bullfight arenas in Spain, the Santa Maria Church and Casa Don Bosque.

REAL ESCUELA

This is a unique place for the horse lover as well as for those appreciating the equestrian art. Here young horse riders are studying and training to become professional riders and to learn the dressage of the Spanish horse. Their daily work can be seen as a extraordinary show 2 – 3 days a week, or you can visit their training sessions. The Royal horse school’s facilities are unique and offers a horse carriage museum,Ecuestrian art museum and is hold in one of the most impressive buildings in all Jerez. You will see the horses exhibit their fitness and manners at harness, riding classic training or horse sports when all the beauty and energy of their character show at its best, confirming the outstanding profile of “ Yeguada de la Cartuja – Hierro del Bocado” in the Spanish Horse world. Hence their ease and grace, noble and gentle temperature, sensible reaction, smoothness and impulsion.

BODEGAS EN JEREZ

Jerez de la Frontera together with Puerto de Santa Maria y Sanlucar de Barrameda form a triangle which makes the basis for al the sherry wine production in the district of Cadiz. In all these villages you can clearly these tracks of this at present. Strolling through the streets of any of these three villages you find all kinds of Bodegas, old and traditional, new and innovation, with horses… a never ending story of tracks from the past of this city. The bodega visit can normally be done as a private visit or each bodega has established the fixed scheduled bodega visit for each day and language.

DOÑANA SWAMP MARK PARK

On the stunning Costa de la Luz coast we find Europe's largest wetland park Doñana. Here we travel with jeeps (only legal with the national park jeeps) and get to experience the 3 different ecosystems found in the park, sand dunes, beach and wetland area. If the season is right, we can see flamencos and other birds wander around in the beautiful surroundings.

FOLLOWING THE TRACKS OF CRISTOBAL COLOM- LA RABIDA

The history of Columbus is an important part of the history of Huelva. Prof of this that we find a Columbus statue just outside of Huelva, close to the "Monastery of Santa Maria de la Rabida" which had a strong links to the discovery of America, because of its support to Christopher Columbus before his first voyage. In the Monastery you can find interesting information about the different trips Columbus made and also the impact these tours had on the local population and the community.

CADIZ VISIT

A visit to Cadiz is a visit through the Spanish history. It was founded by the Phoenicians one thousand years B.C. and given the name "Gadir". Later it was occupied by the Carthaginians and the Romans, and after that by the Arabs which were thrown out by the Normans and reconquered by Alfonso X (the Wise), who had it rebuilt and provided with fortifications. The Discovery of America brought prospers to the city, but its commercial importance decreased when free-trade with America was finally permitted.The old city lies behind Tierra Gate. There are long, narrow streets full of local color, with areas of gardens and buildings that have a pleasant colonial aspect. Cádiz is a southern city which has practically nothing to do with the land, because here everything is centered on the sea.A walk around the city will give you the pleasure of seeing the Cathedral, most important monument in Cádiz, and admiring its many beauties.

We take the catamaran from Tarifa and 45 short minutes later we are strolling through Tanagers mysterious streets. First we will do a welcome panorama tour through Tanger’s avenues the modern part where the Mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic ocean. And a historical stroll through the Kasbah and the Medina unforgettable streets.
